Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address — when you join the waitlist or create an account.
• Location data — only in the iOS app, only while actively navigating. Never sold, never shared.
• Ride data — routes you complete, distance, and elevation. Stored to show your stats.
• Device information — basic analytics (device type, app version) to fix bugs.

What we never do

• Sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
• Track your location in the background without active navigation.
• Share your email with anyone outside Abiance.
• Use your data for targeted advertising.

How we protect your data

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Our backend uses API key authentication on every endpoint. Database access is restricted via row-level security policies — you can only read and write your own data.

Product analytics

We use ELU Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, where they get stuck, what they click. ELU captures session-level behavior (page views, clicks, scrolls, form interactions) but not the values you type into form fields. This data helps us improve the experience. ELU is a third-party service; their handling is governed by their privacy policy at elu.dev/privacy.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare Pages — website hosting (US edge network).
• Railway — backend API hosting (US data centers).
• MongoDB Atlas — waitlist, creator applications, routing data.
• Supabase — authentication and profile storage for the iOS app.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• ELU Analytics — product analytics (session-level behavior, no form values).

Your rights

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing jordan@abiance.com. We will delete your account, ride history, and remove your email from all lists within 30 days.
